Service

"When you are in the service of your fellow beings , you are in the service of your God" 

I love service. I love being served and I know there are always people out there who are in need of some kind of service. So why not reach out. 

Today I was given a phone call by a new friend who I have not known that long but who is in need of some help (service) it seemed no one else was really coming to her when she had asked so she felt the want to ask me, I then of course being who I am put away my health problems and pains to answer her with -- I would love to come and help you. I love giving service and I am always looking for people to serve in any kind of way. 

Sometimes it is hard for us to open our mouths and ask for help, and that is ok ... but there are also those out there who are looking to serve and want to help you. 

I always think of it just as the scripture says and that not only we are serving another one or more of Gods Children but we are serving Him. 

That to me is dear to my heart. I knew every since I came home from my mission it'd be hard for me . I always felt like I couldn't find people who would let me serve them , or it was hard to even get the courage to find it. So soon I prayed every single day to find those opportunities to serve and they slowly came around as Heavenly Father knew the desires of my heart to truly share His love with those I serve. 

You not only feel good after you serve someone or many persons, but you get blessed and it helps both you and those that you serve. 

I am grateful to know that and to have the opportunities that I do, to serve everyone around me no matter who they are cause it means a lot to myself and to The Lord for the sacrifices that He see's me making just to help others. 

I testify to you all that it may just be the small and simple things. That the Lord truly does watch over us and He answers prayers with what ever we stand in need of. Cause when I asked for service opportunities , He gave them to me.. not right away but He knew when I needed them most and when I was well enough . 

I know He knows us personally and I am grateful for the knowledge that we have today to know we were created in His image and that we can do whatever it takes in this life to become better and more like Him each day as we live and serve and share His light. It seriously can be the most simple thing and it means so much to the person(s), to you and to your Father in Heaven. 

I testify , He loves you and He loves me .
